Friday 17th July, 2009 Hello folks, We've started the Cray season in Lorne, so you'll find us serving fresh Cray in many different styles. Bass straight scallops are now in season. It's the first time we have had scallops from Bass straight since the 80s, and now there's a more responsible approach to fishing means we will have them forever! Today's specials: - Grilled local flathead with sauce Basque, oven baked rice - Half shell scallops Galician style - Freshly shucked oysters with sherry vinaigrette - Local Cray Galician style picada stew Pre book if you have a particular wish or even get a group together for a degustation dinner. Cricketers Arms Lager is brewed longer to deliver an extra dry lager that is full bodied and refreshing beer. Fresh fruit salad, yogurt, pastries and homemade jam. This is a great way for travellers and locals to start the day!
